Canister Set. This 4 kitchen canister set is hand painted with chalk paint, and then several coats of a satin varnish is applied. The Black primitive Stars and pip berry vines are also hand painted on two sides of each canister. There are 2 large canisters, and two smaller ones. This primitive canister set would look great on any kitchen counter, or make a wonderful gift. Do not immerse these canisters in water, wipe outside with a slightly damp cloth. You can put water on the inside to wash, but be careful not to get the outside wet. Even though there is varnish on the outside of the canisters if they get soaked the paint may start to peel.
