Potato, and Onion Bin. This vegetable bin is hand made from knotty pine wood, and black hammered hinges. It is stained Dark Walnut. The chicken painting on the lid, and the eggs in the nest on the drawer are hand painted by me using acrylic paints. Then a latex sealer is applied over the painting. It is securely held together with wood glue and brad nails. The onion and potato compartment is separated with plywood, and the back is luan plywood with several air holes. There is poultry netting in the front, The height is 24", the width is 11.25", and the depth is 12". It will hold a 10lb bag of potatoes, and the onion drawer will hold approximately 4 to 5 large onions. This farmhouse potato and onion bin would make a lovely addition to your kitchen for storing your potatoes, and onions. Or it would make a wonderful gift. The pictures of this bin is sample pictures. You will receive one just like it, although the wood grain will be different.

The chicken on the lid and the eggs painted on the drawer just set this potato bin apart from all the others. A part of the base was broken through shipping and the seller made me another base after I sent them a few pictures of the broken part. They made sure they stood behind their product and their customer service even though it was no fault of their own. I highly recommend this item and this seller. You rarely see paintings on potato bins or trash cans anymore. That is why I was immediately drawn to this item.

According to Etsy as I was placing my order there was one left that was available for purchase. I ordered it for Mother's Day. I paid $183.40 for the potato and onion bin on April 20,2024 of which $53.00 was the shipping charge. On April 26,2024 I sent a request for help asking why my order has not shipped my reply was I thought was rude. I did not receive the potato and onion bin until after Mother' Day May 14,2024. The inside of the potato and onion bin was not stained and looks unfinished with finger prints on the inside.
