Potato, and Onion Bin. This rustic farmhouse solid knotty pine potato and onion bin would make a great Christmas gift for mom. It is hand made from knotty pine wood, and black hammered hinges. It is stained Early American. Taters is hand routered on the lid, and onions is hand routered on the onion drawer. The front has a cut out star with poultry netting behind it which not only looks good, but serves as extra air holes for potatoes, plus there are holes in the back for air to circulate. There are several imperfections in the wood which gives it a more rustic look. It is securely held together with wood glue and brad nails. The onion and potato compartment is separated with plywood, and the back is luan plywood. The height is 24", the width is 11.25", and the depth is 12". It will hold a 10lb bag of potatoes, and the onion drawer will hold approximately 4 to 5 large onions. This Farmhouse style potato and onion bin would make a lovely addition to your kitchen for storing your potatoes, and onions.
